Original artwork description:

Point Vicente Lighthouse in Palos Verdes, California, is on a beautiful stretch of coastline. It has a dramatic history and gorgeous surrounding panoramic views. I painted this work en plein air to capture the light. I accentuated the rough surface of the cliffs with confident brushstrokes and thick layers of color, while employing a delicate technique to capture the soft movement of the clouds high overhead.

Materials:
Oil on Centurion Premium Oil Primed DLX Linen Artists’ Panel. Painting surface is protected with a coat of Gamvar varnish.

This painting is sold unframed. It will fit in a standard size 9"x12" frame.
