I like to paint simple still lifes and apply minimalism style, which developed in the late 1950s as a rejection of the abstract expressionism, to my realistic paintings. I call this style - Minimalism in Realism

"All I want anyone to get out of my [works] and all I ever get out of them is the fact that you can see the whole idea without any confusion. What you see is what you see." – Frank Stella, 1964, American artist.

At the same time, objects in my still lifes carry a symbolic message, with which I seek to convey the meaning of the narrative.

In this still life, I wanted to show my view on the events taking place around me and my relationship to art in general. Does the traditional painting still alive? Does the artist turn away from the viewer leaving behind only an insignificant point as a little track?
"I don’t think the human race will survive the next thousand years unless we spread into space" - Stephen Hawking
