"A tornado ripping through a rainbow..."
Heavily textured, laden with colour, this painting hooked me so strongly, I literally couldn't leave it alone, and even when I thought I'd gone too far, I couldn't stop. All I could think was, "I've passed the point of no return and I'm just going to have to go with it and see where I end up." It felt like a journey. That, in a very clumsy way, sort of gives a clue about what was going on in my head as I created this piece.
This painting is gallery wrapped with sides painted white so no need for framing.
