When I saw these colourful, bright, shiny knobs in a shop in Paris I just knew that I had to paint them. To try to depict the beauty of these simple objects, bringing the focus on their colours, shapes and repetition and therefore giving them a new identity was what challenged me.
This painting was part of the FabrianoinAcquarello exhibition 2019, in the city of Fabriano, Italy, during the watercolour festival that happens every year.
