"Poetry" is an unusual 50 x 50 cm square painting in acrylic on linen canvas stretched over wood.

With a hint of Asia, this luminous, warm painting exploits the contrast between a cinnamon coppery background worked with a knife in relief paste and the shaded black of the costume with its white flowers in relief.

From the back, with her face turned three-quarter way, a bare-headed woman wearing a pale pink beanie seems to be gazing serenely at a distant landscape.
