In this painting "Poetic Conclusion" I am broaching the subject of the end of the earth in as poetic a way as possible. I see the comet and feel the imminent impact and yet it is a beautiful conclusion to what has been a long and worrisome decline. As a poet I can approach a negative subject but in a positive light.
