Original artwork description:

This is acrylic painting on high quality linen and custom made canvas. The style is defined by sculptural use of paint. It is 3-D, built-up mixture of many layers of thick gesso, paint, sand and other materials. I'm inspired by the structure of Jupiter's Moons. I'm inspired by structure of celestial bodies. This one was inspired by surface of Pluto. It is a dwarf planet in the Kuiper belt, a ring of bodies beyond Neptune. It was the first Kuiper belt object to be discovered. Pluto was discovered by Clyde Tombaugh in 1930 and was originally considered to be the ninth planet from the Sun. After 1992, its status as a planet was questioned following the discovery of several objects of similar size in the Kuiper belt.
Finished with a glaze of UV varnish to protect against sunlight and dust damage. The colors may look a little bit different depending on the screen. This artwork is signed and dated on the back. A signed Certificate Of Authenticity will be included with the artwork. Edges are painted so it doesn't require any frame.
Size: 120 H 100 W x 4 cm 47.2" x 35.9" x 1.6"
