Original artwork description:

This watercolor was made in September 2021 at the southern end of Ploumanac'h harbour at low tide. This former fishing hamlet, located on the 'pink granite' coast of Northern Brittany, has become a tourist hotspot offering the visitor a natural site of exceptional beauty. In this work I tried to convey the quiet relaxing atmosphere of the place. I was particularly interested in the contrasts between light and shade. This watercolor painted on Hahnemühle 640g paper is framed (see photo) and ready to hang.
Inside dimensions of the mount: 28.5x38.5 cm

Materials used:

extra fine watercolour pigments on acid free cotton paper
