An impressionistic landscape painting.
Abstracted impressionist landscape.

There is something about this time of year that really captivates me, and I spend quite a lot of time walking in the rural landscape that surrounds me on South East England. This painting is inspired by the local fields, being ploughed and replanted with winter crops.

I use Golden acrylic paints, and layer, splash, spatter, brush and palette knife paint onto my canvas to create a rich textured paint surface.

This 40x40cm painting is unframed, it has white painted edges and is strung with picture cord ready to hang.
