Summer for me is a perfect possibility to put all the time for a plein air. That's an indispensable experience for any artist. To get an inspiration directly from nature, to feel the color, air and emotions and capture it on the canvas. And of course, the joy of being outdoors while the good weather!
These painting I made in the Botanical Garden of Uni Hohenheim in Stuttgart. The weather was windy and warm. The yellow just mown field on the foreground harmonized with blue sky and saturated green of trees. Sunlit summer landscape gives a feeling of warmness and pacifying, reminds a childhood when we ran barefooted on the field in the grandma's countryside.
