Original artwork description:

I like how the image manages to be very contemporary yet timeless and I'd even say ancient in its evocations. I've worked with extremely thin, transparent layers here - building the composition by overlapping and shapes and forms, simultaneously defining and merging the figure with its setting until it became a part of the landscape herself.
The work - ink and oil paint - is on large, gallery-wrapped canvas - 100x120cm, deep edges of 4 cm.
