Soft yet bold and minimalistic large scale abstract that was done with acrylic and mixed media (pencil, marker, fabric) on a gallery profile canvas in shades of white with bold touches of peach, yellow, magenta, violet and black. It is sealed with a satin protective finish. The photo's do not do this piece justice. It glows from within.
**NOTE: Because of its size, the piece will be removed from its stretcher bars, and it will be shipped rolled in a tube to be re-stretched by the collector.**
It is signed on the front and back along with the title and date created.
I name my pieces by what occurred while painting the piece. What moved me, what struggles had to be overcome, my mood, my train of thought, what the piece reminded me of, sometimes a song that was on and the beat moved me or the lyrics influenced me in some way. Some pieces are named clearly with a bit of humor. I never intentionally start out a painting saying “I’m going to do this, or I’m going to do that”. All of my pieces morph into something that is totally surprising and unexpected.
