This scene has been experienced on the Cuban Pilar beach in Cayo Coco with its white sand and turquoise and shallow waters. A Cuban mom is playing with her daughter on the rim of the hot Caribbean sea under the scorching tropical sun.

This one-of-a-kind original is painted with oil paints in a gestural, loose, and impressionist style with a prominent paint texture. The brushwork and the palette knife strokes are clearly seen on the surface of the painting and thus enriching it with the unique liveliness and artistic expression of a handpainted original.
