Artwork description:

The mackerel is my favourite fish to be found in UK waters and I'm working on a series of prints in celebration of this fine beast.

This print was printed in reduction (with the lino carved away between each layer of colour) from one piece of lino, using five colours. I have used oil based ink and lovely archival cotton rich paper.

Due to the hand made nature of this method of printing, there will be slight variation between each print.

Materials used:

Somerset satin cotton rag, linseed oil relief inks
