The name Plantasomnia comes from Latin words for “plant” and “dream”. To create this image I used small, dry twigs and transparent, colored organic gel with air bubbles. The miniature composition (2 inches in diameter) was captured in the cross-polarized light.
Photographic paper under acrylic, mounted on 2 inches deep recessed black wooden frame.
