Etching uses an intaglio process to represent a plant on geometric elements in various shades. The composition conveys a feeling of balance through the duality of its forms. The angle of the horizon line, together with the oval from which the plant emerges, generates visual tension, while the circle and semicircle provide calm. The contrast between the sinuous lines of the floor plan and the geometric perfection of the other elements reinforces the harmony of the whole, in a constant search for balance.
