New etching and aquatint of a couple sailing to the edge of the world...

Like all my handmade prints, this began as a little scribble in a sketch book which I then redrew onto a grounded zinc plate, the design changing along the way. After etching the line I added an aquatint to achieve the tones and then chose my favourite mix of blue and green lithographic inks.

The plate is inked for every print in the limited edition and so each one is in effect unique.

Orders are wrapped in acid-free tissue, rolled into a thick-walled 10cm wide cylinder and dispatched signed and tracked within two days.
