Original artwork description:

"Pixel Marley" is part of a series of portraits conceived to be the artistic representation of a peculiar brain skill, that of face recognition.
A little structure called the fusiform gyrus allows us to recognize the human face, even without details.
In addition to taking inspirationg from Seurat and Signac, fathers of Pointilism, this artwork is also inspired by Pixel Art, but with the variant of hand-making, instead of ditigal drawing.
When seen from afar (5-6 metres), the artwork appears as a normal portrait and you can notice the pixels only as you get closer.
The choice of depicting Bob Marley is dictated by the need to have a well-known character and Marley is one of the most recognizable faces in all of music history.

The artwork will be sold with an MDF black frame and a plexiglas panel.

Size without frame: 33 x 24 cm (13 x 9,5 in)
Size including frame: 42 x 32 x 1,3 cm (16,5 x 12,6 x 0,5 in)

The artwork is signed by the artist and will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
It will be carefully packed and shipped by traceable courier.

The usual shipping time outside the European Union is around 20 working days, because a shipping document issued by Ufficio delle Belle Arti is required in order to get the artwork through customs.

Regarding shipments to EU this artwork will be packaged in a cardboard box, as for shipments to countries outside the EU it will be packaged in a wooden crate.
