Anyone can fall upon hard times is the meaning behind this painting. Pinocchio never had a mother. That has so many psychological implications it fascinated me as an idea for a painting. Fairy tales and biblical stories fascinate me as they have a depth beyond the simplicity of the story. Pinocchio becomes a real boy but grows up to be a broken man. Anyone of us put into the right situation can fall into the darkest of holes and having compassion for people that do is another message I want to put across in tjis painting. _x000D_ _x000D_ This painting comes as a rolled canvas with extra several inches around image for framer to stretch to frame or board. Stretching to frame is around a $100 far far cheaper than if I was to ship it stretched that’s the reason why it’s rolled. I’m a London-based artist, and my work often reflects vivid and surreal imagery inspired by my unique experience with REM intrusion—a condition where dream-like visions can appear while I’m awake. My paintings explore the boundary between waking reality and the dream world, using layered compositions to create a sense of depth and movement. I paint with high-quality materials and put a lot of thought into texture and detail.
