Inspired by a new flower in the botanical building of Balboa Park in San Diego, California. This piece was created with a special style of pliage (folding art) that I developed studying the physical work of the French painter Simón Hantai. It represents a movement of water in different directions, with an untouchable static pink star in the center. Artwork is acrylic paint and ink on canvas, 14 x 14."
