A colourful and rich impasto oil painting of spring tulips on canvas board (40 x 50 cm) painted using brush and palette knife. Professionally framed by Bailey Arts in Dagfields Cheshire in a coordinating chunky 15mm thick off-white/neutral wooden frame.

This painting was painted as part of 7 day challenge to paint a painting a day and a tribute to my grandmother whom as an artist herself and my tutor in my youth painted impasto flower paintings in oil. I am sure if she was here today she would be delighted to see it.
