In my artwork I combine oil painting, collage and chalk to create a fascinating composition of figurative elements, pop art and abstract forms. It is the portrait in black and white of a young woman in profile, embedded in an environment of soft pastel colours and moving, gestural painting, spackled paint, patterns, spray and collage. It is an expressive depiction full of emotion and energy that makes viewing it an experience. The vibrant colours and textures are intended to bring joie de vivre into any room and stimulate the viewer's thoughts.
