"Pink roses", oil painting on stretched canvas, 50X50 cm
A contemporary expressive oil painting of pink roses, with dark olive green foliage on green/grey gestural background. I love the accidental dripping on roses, and the use of transparent olive green mixed with transparent magenta pink which give the idea of the old brown petals, as we see on roses, after the rain. Some light petals of roses are made with a palette knife. Some parts of the artwork are made with glazes, some other alla prima, which give richness of transparency and opacity to the painting.
The painting is varnished and signed on the front.
This handmade artwork will be delivered with an invoice and a signed certificate of authenticity.
