Pink protea flower on a delicate watercolor background. To make this painting light and weightless, I used a mixed technique: alcohol ink, watercolor, acrylic and oil paints on canvas.
The flower is drawn in great detail, you can feel the rough proteus petals. The picture can be hung without a frame, since the edges of the stretcher are painted over to match the picture.
Signed and dated on the front and back.
The painting is varnished.
