Lush and fragrant, the enormous pink peony stands out against light blue background. Plenty curved petals are tiny in the center and widen on the edges. I applied a free impressionistic style, using bold brush strokes. For the background, I used radial wide strokes to highlight the flower. The light blue color of background has some pink inclusions to achieve a pearl color effect.
This painting could be an ideal color accent in the interior. The Classical floral motif is never out of vogue.
