Original artwork description:

This large pink peony painting was inspired by Paul de Longpre', a self taught French painter born in 1855. His paintings are fresh and light and I hope to have captured the spirit of his way of painting.

The entire painting was painted with acrylic paints which I prepare in my studio using Italian and Germany mineral pigments along with an acrylic binder.
The background of the painting has a slight silver metallic finish which gives the entire work a special glow.

This painting will be carefully rolled and and shipped in a sturdy cardboard tube via courier, a tracking number will be provided.
