In this small Scottish mountain landscape painting study, I have tried to portray the dramatic light often seen lighting up the hills and glens of the west coast Scottish highland scenery in the evenings where the views of hillsides turn a shade of pink; with a small scenic lochan or lake in the foreground surrounded by the wild, rugged and remote purple heather moorlands of the highlands of Scotland.
Painted with a palette knife and fingers in muted autumnal colors with touch of pink in the hills and purple moors with an atmospheric moody cloudy grey sky.

Painted using quality artists acrylics on a small square format 8" x 8" (20 x 20cm) canvas, with a varnish finish and white wooden frame with cord ready to hang.


Will require a signature on delivery.
