Pink Moon on a Blue Night is a watercolour of a young woman gazing at a crescent moon which is suffused with a very subtle hint of pink overlaid with gold.
Its crescent shape is mirrored in her decorated bodice which cups her breasts.

I've limited my palette to white, brown, burnet sienna and black, and have added the merest blush of pink to the moon, her nipples and her lips.

Painted in Winsor & Newton Artists watercolour on blue Khadi handmade Indian paper, the blue of which is the background colour of the painting.

Available unframed
Wrapped in acid-free tissue and sent by Tracked delivery with a Certificate of Authenticity.
