I am inspired by my passion for psychology and introspection, as well as the personal story of my life journey.
I create my paintings by pouring many translucent layers, just as people are made up of different layers, among them layers of other people's opinions, influences.

You look into yourself like a keyhole and it is so alluring and enticing, the more you see, the more you want to go on.
It is so difficult to see the real you behind these layers of other people's patterns, your own thoughts and states, defense reactions of the consciousness, unconsciousness, behind layers of public opinions covered with good intentions.
Perhaps it is layers of other people's love, or hatred, indifference, pity, or perhaps rejection, reproach, judgment?

This Painting tells about the very beginning of a journey in search of authenticity.
One day a man is haunted by a strange feeling of disharmony, something wrong inside, something false, a light, subtle feeling at first, which gradually becomes obsessive and sticky, it is always with you, no matter what you do.

And then there are questions to which one seeks answers. And then he starts to listen more and more to his sensations, and these are the first moments when he leaves the outside world and suddenly pays attention inside himself. And there comes the realisation that not everything is so simple, and if you look closely, there is something, but it is so difficult to see, something interferes, some veil, and there is a temptation to leave everything as it is.
What is hiding inside us?

For this work I chose violet shades to convey the feeling of readiness to change, to reveal inner secrets.
The shades of pink were chosen as a symbol of childhood naivety, openness, purity, which were in every person in early childhood, when there were not so many superfluous layers and one could see what is inherent in nature, one's unique set of layers, one's authenticity.
