Painted on-site in the artist's neighborhood in Minneapolis, MN. Features a maple tree glowing with autumn color in shades of pink, peach, and red. The tree is accented by a burning bush shrub with foliage of similar red and pink colors, and evergreen shrubs below its branches. Painted in oil, with florescent oil, over casein on board. The soft, watery effects in the background grass and sky are painted with matte-textured casein paint, which contrasts with the thicker oil paint of the foliage. The texture of the foliage was created with palette knife. Framed in a 2" wide wood frame with an antique gold finish, and ornate moulding. May be purchased unframed by request.
