Original artwork description:

A partially formed female figure rocks happily in frontal disposition, without legs and an obscured head leaving its neck as a rosy stand-in. The arrangement of two robust breasts, though, as well as a centrally placed vaginal loop, while symmetrically describing the requisite female landmarks, also playfully recalls a large face in the attitude of surprise.

Influences, among others, include Max Beckmann, Edvard Munch, Bob Thompson, George McNeil, Richard Diebenkorn, David Park, Francesco Clemente, R.B. Kitaj and Willem de Kooning.
