Pineapple Dreams is a surrealistic mixed media collage, based around the concept of the pineapple. A fun energetic piece of sparkling sequin gold textures and surges of colourful images. Collected pieces of photos taken on an iPhone, some photos digitally edited to create swirling patterns, then printed out and formed as collage, with fluid acrylic paint and mixed media.

This piece is inspired by the artist Jasper Johns, whose work is full of depths and layers to which elements are hidden but can be found. The painting investigates form, colour and how images are hidden, viewed and perceived.
