Expressionist oil pastel painting of a pineapple - dominant colours are crimson and olive green on a light blue background - directly done in front of the object on a dark grey Daler-Rowney's Murano Paper 'COAL' - format A4 (21 x 29.7 cm). - - - Mostly I sketch, draw and paint directly from nature, in front of a model or object - keeping this practice feeds into my work as a sculptor, printmaker and conceptual artist. Such an 'oil pastel object' breathes so much authenticity, holding it in your hands you will feel its preciousness.

The very handy collection format is A4 - 21 x 29.7 cm - the actual image about 19.5 x 28.2 cm leaving an about 8 mm edge from having been masking taped during its making. All reasonable efforts are made to provide a good representation of colour, however due to computer monitor limitations, some variation may occur.
