Impressionist oil pastel painting of a pineapple in nature colours on a white background - directly done in front of the object - on white paper, format A4 (21 x 29.7 cm). - - - Mostly I sketch, draw and paint directly from nature, in front of a model or object - keeping this practice feeds into my work as a sculptor, printmaker and conceptual artist. Such an 'oil pastel and graphite object' breathes so much authenticity, holding it in your hands you will feel its preciousness.

The very handy collection format is A4 - 21 x 29.7 cm - the actual image is about 20 x 28.5 cm leaving ca 5 mm edge as it was masking taped during its making - that edge is hardly to notice due to the white background and the white paper. Please see the second image - that will give you an idea about the edge and the contrast of that second photo is quite close to the tones of the actual work. The third image is completely unedited.
