A painting of my favourite trees, Scots Pines. I love their shape, there deep green foliage and evergreen nature. This work has an autumnal feel, with faded bracken providing a hint of warm colour. I have used brushes and cloths to move the paint around and merge the green palette. The painting is framed in a sturdy painted wood frame with a shadow gap between painting and frame to enhance the work.
