This is a linocut inspired by time spent in Mowbray Park in my home city Sunderland, this place is always surrounded by pigeons, as is much of the city centre in general. On many an occasion I have sat on a park bench there, taking a bag of seeds and fed these two-legged creatures!
The work is semi-abstract and is loosely based on photos I have took myself, capturing the varying postures of the pigeon.
This is a limited edition linocut, printed on 200gsm Heritage white paper.
Your print will come wrapped in protective tissue paper to reach you in the best condition.
If you have any questions relating to the work before purchase please don't hesitate to ask me.
