Pierre Gasly and Alpha Tauri have become a formidable combination, since his return to the team in 2019. He has achieved several podiums, including his maiden win, with the first of 2021 coming at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. The AT02 has a classy colour scheme which reflects well in certain lighting. The glow of the sun, as evening set in during for delayed into the Grand Prix, contrasted well with the cool blue bodywork. Here I have tried to capture these complimentary colours and apply them with purposefully loose brushstrokes – to represent the blur of the car as it hits 200mph down the finishing straight.
