I'm drawn to all things intricate and love finding ways to transfer the shapes and patterns I see and create a Lino print from it all.
This particular print is of a lovely Victorian pleasure pier in Eastbourne, in a quintacential seaside resort on the south coast of England.
I was also inspired to use a more flat and graphic use of colour as a small nod to Edward Bawden's "Brighton Pier", a genius in design and linocut printmaking.
I have only produced 2 linocut prints in this particular colour way.
Please be aware that there are faint smudges which can easily be hidden by good framing.
This print will be sent rolled in a sturdy tube to keep postage costs reasonable.
Somerset satin 300gm (cream). Oil based inks
