About the "Pieces Of Beautiful "Series:

I find beauty in old, worn, tattered and aged things that have their own history. I love the idea of taking bits of reclaimed materials and creating something new and beautiful, giving it a second life...thus creating "Pieces of Beautiful".

This mixed media piece on recycled/reclaimed wood. The wood is not totally square and is very imperfect. It has notches and chipped areas which adds to the charm of the piece. This has many recycled elements, from old fabric (worn out clothing), hand painted paper pieces to anything that I thought had an interesting texture. This is very very textured. It has been painted and then sealed with a very high gloss varnish for a beautiful shine that just brings out the beautiful textures even more. The sides and back have been painted black.

This listing is for the set of 2 works of art. Each piece will come with a hanging attachment separately so that you can choose the hanging direction that you like best. You can also simply display them on a small easel.
