Original artwork description:

This urban landscape has been rendered in an impressionistic way in an attempt to suggest the atmosphere of the small square of the village of Mergozzo, with people walking and eating in the restaurants along the lake. One of the main elements of the composition is the red house, which competes for attention to the restaurant awning with its patrons and to the two people walking in the foreground.
Watercolor made on 300 grams cotton paper.

This painting was selected for the the International Watercolor Festival of Liege (Belgium) and was exhibited at the Museum of La Boverie from 17 to 20 august 2023.
It was also published in the 49th issue of the magazine "the Art of Watercolour" among the first 100 paintings in the New Readers' Competition.
