Here we have the piano man with his girl, the girl is the violin and together they are making music, he is playing her with great tendency and sensitivity she is enjoying it very much. It’s painted mainly with a palette knife so it’s very thickly painted and in the style of Picasso who is one of my heroes and I love to paint in his style.

When I sit at my easel with a blank canvas, I’m in my world I’m in control, I know what I’m going to paint. I want my paintings to have character to tell a story but without words as if using mime, to be dramatic, emotional, sometimes theatrical but always with feelings and always special.

I love painting people, but I don’t want to just paint portraits, I want my people to have a bit of character, a little of the night about them I want them to be special with a sort of
surrealism feel to it, for you to see something different every time you look at it, I want it to hold your imagination.

COMMISSIONS:  I would be delighted to create you a unique work, whatever size you need or colour palette.
