Piaf numero 7 is part of the Piaf series of funny birds with expressive eyes.
It's a zany bird in the Tim Burton style, with big round shy eyes, a quiff and white polka-dot plumage.
His braces and light-coloured eyes give him a naive, gentle air.

This painting is done in acrylic wash, which allows you to create many shades and nuances.

The painting comes with a contrasting white passe-partout and a thin-edged black resin frame to show it off to best advantage.
