Artwork description:

Physalis are stunning in the winter with their shiny bright lanterns, but beneath that delicate casing nature moves on and the papery orange soon gives way to a fine skeleton. This delicate cage holds the fruit until one day the it splits, the seed tumbles and it all starts over again.

This print is made on Inbe Epais paper with oil-based inks. It is presented 'loose' (ie unframed and without a mount) but send me a message with your frame size if you would like to discuss the addition of a hand-cut mount.

Please note that under 'dimensions' the first measurements are approximations of the paper size and the second set (actual image size) reflect the printed area.
