I wanted to read this myth on a different angle, leaving the idea – changing the contents. Phoenix, in the image of a girl, slowly is waking up to start a new day, a servant girl brings water to wash her on the beach, and have a light breakfast. Afar, a walking figure with a flag and some kites-snakes invoke hope of an easy and careless day. In the evening all comes again – the dream will come. The cracked cup and fading lemon on the foreground hints and promise a new dream. And morning will bring new hopes.
