Original artwork description:

This is a painting of a pheasant strutting across the canvas, all feathers preened and clean. I live up in the High Peaks surrounded by moorland and I love catching glimpses of them. They have such complex patterns in their feathers that were both a challenge and pleasure to paint.

I get all frames custom made from frames express and generally order them when the painting sells. It usually takes them a few days to be made and posted, then I frame them myself before posting them out. This allows me to offer the works unframed or framed.
