Geometric Abstraction with a touch of voyuerism. The piece is geometry art with an inter- positional relationship of angles, lines and geometric objects coupled with the universal relationship of circles; watches over by center-piece watchful faces. All complimented with a mirror painted 8 x 10 mirror…. Watching you; watching me. The mirror object is not a mirror; it is a highly reflective paint centered on any piece viewer.

While the piece borrows from the masters of Bauhaus Geometric Art, it deviates from the work of Bauhaus classics. Through vibrant colors and highlighted perspective some viewers will find movement in the piece while others, depending on vision acuity, will find glimpses of 3D perception.

Phantasm is a focused example of my credo: “ The eye and vision are portals to all mental sensory perception . The hammer hits the nail that stands out.”
