Artwork description:

Orchids made from fabric textures stuck on a board, inked by hand and printed on an intaglio press.
This process is called Collagraph and it generally means collaged plate. I have shown the plate as they are interesting to see the mirrored image.
The leaves spill over the edge at the sides which softens the artwork.
Each image varies with different ink wiping technique.

printmaking inks on Somerset printmaking paper
