I visited this abandoned petrol station near Aspindza in a remote part of Georgia in 2010 during the ‘Abandoned?’ journey. On this journey we travelled 39000 km in a camper van through 24 European countries investigating and documenting abandoned places to create a feature length documentary film and photographic project.
This artwork is a one off piece created for an exhibition in an abandoned convent. It was then in storage for several years whilst I moved my life from the city to the countryside, went through a divorce and dealt with the pandemic. It is now available to buy exclusively in my ArtFinder shop.
fineart giclée print applied to aluminium dibond sandwich board with a protective film so there's no need for glass. 1cm spacers. Sold ready to hang.
