Original artwork description:

A portrait of woman called Petricia. Her blank expressions inspired me to paint this piece. I could never tell if she is angry or happy, confused or confident. There was just no way of telling what her expressions were and how she felt on the inside. She would always wear a red bow tie and the string of pearls.
