As the rest of the world sleeps, we turn on the navigation lights, check the ropes and slip out of sight. Dawn is our long time friend. A daily reward that makes up for the days we come back empty. Fish or no fish, the seagulls come faithfully along for the ride. They too hope for a good day.

In this painting, I've captured the fleeting essence of coastal life. A piece inspired by those who feed their families with the fruits of our seas... Those fishing villages that dot our planet and are filled with ancient traditions and trepidation.
With an impressionist approach, I’ve used Ink and acrylic on high quality canvas with a UV protective varnish to finish.
The painting continues along the edges and is signed on the front and back of the canvas. Ready to hang and invoke a sense of calm and reflective contemplation into your home.
